What is Independence Day?
It is the celebration of the Declaration of Independence adopted in 1776 in America. It took place in the
Independence Hall, former Assembly Room of the Pennsylvanian State House, in Philadelphia. Thomas Jefferson wrote a part of the Declaration of Independence. So the thirteen British
colonies seceded from the United Kingdom.
The room where the Declaration of Independence was adopted ,where the Articles of the Confederation were ratified in 1781 and where the Constitution was
framed in 1787.
